I'm sure this is an old question but I didn't see an answer in a quick search. On a Cox Black Widow where should the fuel pickup bottom be placed. The old, hard as a rock and clogged one was formed into an arc so the end was over on the right side, for C/l flying but the new flexible one wants to just move around. What is a good position? Below the bottom right screw, above the lower right screw?

Eric's picture is exactly right for CL. The metal backplates have a little shelf that helps secure it, which is a big help keeping it in place. Those things have very nearly driven me mad at one time or another. Bonking a plane and wondering if it's all still in position.

Welcome to CEF, FargoPhil.
