Testors Engine Needle Wanted

Hi there. I had picked this little unit up locally stuck tight. Got it cheap, then realized that the needle was missing. D'oh. Should have looked harder. So, anyways, all I think I know is that this is a 'Pipe B%#b' engine. Is there anyone here who knows where I may be able to find one of these needles? Tried a Cox needle with no go. Anyways, if you know where one may be found, I would appreciate a little advice. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure there's a used one on eBay right now. I saw it a couple of days ago while looking for Testors 049s.

Well at least I know what to look for now. I will keep looking as the $19 shipping is crazy! Thank you for the help.

I have a Testors metal crankcase engine, with the plastic backplate/venturi. It is missing the entire needle valve assy and spraybar too. I also have a complete but broken Cox postage stamp backplate. I pulled the complete nva off the Cox backplate, it was a perfect fit to the Testor. I haven't tried the spraybar on yet.

If you happen to have a spare Cox plastic backplate, you may be able to change the entire assembly.

The said Testor engine is on the upper right corner of the picture:

New I looked and didn't see one right off but, I have a lot of stuff I need to go through and there still may be one in there some where ? // I just sold one of those and another tester engine for 9.00 ! Eric Babe Bee .049

You are looking for a needle to a Testors 8000 engine. The "Pipe Bomb" engines have a metal crankcase.

Before I knew about the Pipe Bomb engines, this 'mystery needle' was camping with other odd stuff in a cardboard box of stuff.
