COX LAZYBEE (foamies)

COX LAZYBEE (foamies)
So I recently purchased ( ebay,seperately) 2 used cox lazybee`s
The first 1 was a month or so ago, and it is a little rough but the price was fair. busted up tail and a badly warped wing. I`m not sure if I can get the warp out and as it was to ba a Christmas present for my son I was still on the hunt.
I bought the second last week, again, the price was decent. The former owner wasn`t totally knowledgable on all things modelling, but wasn`t stupid about taking pics either.
Someone, I`m assuming the former owner, tried to spraypaint the foam wing , luckily they began at the trailing edge and knew enough to stop
but the wing t/e was hid vby the fuse in the pic, in less than optimal lighting, so the fuse and shadows took care of that detail visualy in the pic.
Now then, I have some work ahead of me, currently working on solutions.
Simply covering the spray paint deteriorated wing may work while adding a bit of weight.
A bt of modelling prowess building up a wing from a similar sized lazybee kit it the other(preferable) solution at this point;at lesst for the badly warped wing.
In hindsight, I should have posted this in the modelling category perahaps....then again it is a COX product, not to be confused with the Clancy Aviation version.............
I think I will search out some modellers who have more experience with the lazybee`s for info. if none respond to this........
