What does it look like?
Re: Wanted #2350 Muffler throttle medallion .09
Seems as if someone replaced the assembly with the trottle-ring version (leaving the arm on the venturi, which, by itself, has no function).
That "slider" assembly is bound to be quite difficult to find but, should we come across one, will advise.

check ebay
they show up on ebay occasionally. Sometimes for .049, sometimes for .09 and sometimes for both from the same seller.

jm: here is a link to a Cox .049 with the same type muffler. Like I said, sometimes you see the .049 version, sometimes the .09 version and sometimes both.

and must be so ...
I have a couple of the slide mufflers and really like them, they idle nicely. And I would say yes, get yourself a complete one. But, how about trying an experiment? Since you have the rotating spray bar, how about using that in conjunction with the rotating muffler. Move the linkage holes to the left side and link the muffler to the spray bar. Might work, might not. But if it were me I'd give it a go.

That's an idea Mark it would be interesting to see if it worked , the .09 medallion is at 12$ you would be lucky to ever get one without buying the whole engine , I have never seen one by it self that I can remember the .049s I have been seeing go for 60-70$ http://www.ebay.com/itm/COX-MEDALLION-09-MODEL-AIRPLANE-ENGINE-/291614233365?hash=item43e5901315:g:Yx0AAOSwYHxWQ4hu getback

Doesn't look complete
Eric, that Med .09 you posted a link to the auction of, doesn't look like it's muffler assembly is complete either. It appears to be missing the linkage lever at the back of the 'muffler slider'. Not sure how you would connect the throttle linkage up to this.

Good thing you seen that I guess I missed it in a heist , I would suppose you could heli arc a arm to it , it will probably go cheap since its not complete 3 bidders . getback wants a heli arc to go with his stick welder

It's just a small bracket screwed to the spindle. You could make one up in 5 minutes. No deal breaker.
