Well I found one.
Does anyone know the legality of mixing and selling fuel to get decent 1/2a blends to UK aero modellers.

Check some of the Uk drag racing forums Indra. I know they still burn nitro at Santa Pod raceway. Might be a couple leads there.

I think model technics sell it Indra.
As for couriering don't forget Wilf is in the
North so for all intents and purposes it
Would be like sending it across town to me.
I'll ask Andy at Optifuel whether he'll sell

Cool John.
It would be great if they do because I found a p;ace that sells methanol for £37 for 35l drums.
Also 23kg of castor oil for £116 so it is looking good.
If I do start mixing i will be selling small quantities on eBay and via word of mouth but not properly as a buisness but if it is legal I will try and make a small business out of it.
I know northern Ireland is the UK but i think it still counts as over seas shipping.

I bought 70ml from local Chemist recently,
I thought "that'll last me".

I'm out all day today but I'll give Roz at Opti a tinkle tomorrow
she's the sender. I forget the Co they use but I know they sponsor
a heli (weirdo) in the North so they must have
a way of getting it to him.

Just spoke to Roz she said it isn't counted as Hasmat
And it's only individual companies that don't like
Carrying it because it's potentially flammable.
The company they
Use are called Countrywide 0161 848 0123.

I think in Turkey For example 'personal' ie less than 10
Litres was Ok. We take it in by the pallet load which is where
The fun starts. To get it thru customs we had to pay their guys
To have it analysed even though the ingredients are clearly labelled
Then there are govnment agents that want to 'help' ie get a slice
Of the action. Lucky for us shortly after we started Turkey stepped
Up a gear to join the EU and the corruption (midnight express anyone?)
Ceased. But Bora's half Turkish and his Mum still has a place outside
Ankara without which I think we Would had given up.
Point I make is you'll have to do your homework for
Each and every Market.
