"Reedy" Coxes have four options for reeds: copper, teflon, mylar and steel.

What are the advantages of each?

I'll have to do some more tests before I can really say advantages of each reed type. Most of the differences are how long they last and their resistance to fuel and heat. There's another topic similar to this http://coxengineforum.forumakers.com/t63-best-reeds

I find mylar lasts longest but copper gives the best performance.
