Re: cox 049 exhaust
You could make it from small tubing maybe about 1/4 inch in diameter at a like a hardware store and take the exhaust silencer at Cox International and maybe braze or silver solder it on. But the thing that would happen (i think) is that the non burnt gas will collect at the bottom of the stack. and could go back in the engine of clog it up (Trust me Ive always wanted to do this too on my old Traxxas Tmaxx but thought about that and on that also, but its a little different but same principal)

Re: cox 049 exhaust
i was planning on buying the exhaust from there
and then open the hole a bit
make a splitter and solder it on there
and then down and in the stack exhaust (using flexible tubes for oil clearing)
but i just need help in thinking it up

I wonder if you could tap a fuel line fitting on it to pressurize the fuel tank
It would be cool to have dual pipes on either sides

Re: cox 049 exhaust
yea it will look cool
but i do need 2 stack exhaust including the heat protection
becaus a bare metal exhaust would not be cool enough

Well, find a slightly larger pipe and drill holes or find a screen mesh.
then to fasten you could perhaps solder a washer towards the bottom then
solder the heat protection to that, and solder another washer at the top.
It Does seem like a lot of work though.
but if you wanted heat protection not for show
you could heat use sleeves for rc fuel line

Re: cox 049 exhaust
the heat sleve is just for show
and i have been looking on e-bay a smaler version of the king hauler exhaust would be perfect
but most exhausts are 28cm long and 1.2cm wide
if both were halved they were perfect

Re: cox 049 exhaust
If i had the funds to do this i would start by drilling the perfect size hole in the cox exhaust, then see if it fits perfectly
then i would cut it down to the perfect length
now i would solder it to the original exauhst.
(thats how i imagine it)

Re: cox 049 exhaust
naa ether side is to much work
i am just solderering a copper pipe to it so that it makes a T split
and i may have found the correct exhaust tips
12.5cl tall (5")
and 6.35mm round (1/4")
a little cut in the bottem (make it shorter)
and a connection on it (for the tubing)
and it may turn into something cool

Agreed,
You might be able to get away with jb weld instead of solder
