who is proppopper on ebay? because i bought a cox 15 medallion of you and go refunded becuse that ebay said it had not been able to ship to me and i got refunded plese may you send it again to me and charge me the 42 dollars again thank you

He may have stipulated state side only is why it didn't ship you have to look at the available shipping he is willing to do.

yes it is my dads ebay account he pays for it on ebay than i pay him the cots of every thing in total in cash

i have been waiting all school holidays for that engine to arrive so i can fly my glider that took me 2 years to build and all what happens is that my dad gets a email from ebay saying that there was a problem with shipping and our money got refunded DAMMIT!

I JUST WANT MY ENGINE NOT MY MONEY BACK DAMMIT!

Global Shipper Program

Means: can't ship anything with oil/fuel/haz mat (real or fictitious) international. So engines cannot be shipped via this program. Look for someone who ships international using a regular carrier instead of a 3rd party.

This is not the first time this has happened, there are several threads here and on Stunthanger about this exact event. The seller may not have the engine anymore, which makes it worse with collectables.

any way i have got a backup engine on ebay the down side is that is quite expencive or i wait to the next holidays to get anther engine to then fly my gider

p.s does any on have a cox .15 medallion or sportsman or tee dee or olympic engine that 45 dollars can buy?

Greg, how about installing an electric motor with speed control and a folding prop? Works great on a glider, one of my 2m gliders (Sig Riser) is equipped with one and I am planning to install one on my Blue Phoenix too. Electric motor will vibrate less, makes no mess and you can fly it just about anywhere.

If you have only two channels available you could use a timer to stop the electric motor after a set time. Electric system would get you flying easily. If this is your first attempt at RC flying, you will have enough challenges even without a nitro engine, and I am pretty sure 45 bucks will get you a motor, a controller (or a timer) and a LiPo battery. LiPo chargers cost a bit more but a charger is a good investment for the future if you get into RC cars, copters and whatnot.

Phil is exactly right Greg.
I had the same problem with Global shipping and the short story is I got nowhere. To save duplication on this thread write global in the search box up in the left corner and read the thread titled "Problems with eBays Global Shipping Programme".
Although Globals policy is not to ship anything that may have fuel or oil residue or fumes present (that's their prorogative) they don't advertise that fact (you have to read the fine print) but they still allow sellers to list global as the shipping agent who are unaware (as well as the unfortunate buyer) that the item will be confiscated. That's the part that annoys me.

You simply request seller in USA posts you the item First Class US mail..........It will be about $15.00.
I've had many engines in all sizes, some recently from the US as suggested without ANY problem.

In my view ANYTHING marked as that Global shipping is an absolute NO NO.

I've requested a change from the Global Shipping Program several times and I've been refused every time. Dozens of engines have come my way First Class shipping without any problems. If they want the reassurance of insurance & tracking etc, they only need to send it Priority International through USPS rather than through the GSP

Couldn't agree more. Ebay gets them locked in and they won't budge. I won't give them the satisfaction. Now I know about the fuel/oil residue issue then that confirms my opposition even stronger.
