TOO FUNNY!
Well not really... i am finishing up the bipe and wanted to test run the engine..
it had a metal back-plate but the needle valve was tight at the bottom and i could not get it to run so i changed it out for a plastic one.
no here's where the funny starts.... she fired right up with the plastic back plate.. get it tuned up and turn around to put everything down and when i turn back around a see the rubber nose cone wobbling... this was an old bigger one that looked to bee in good shape (NOT) just as i get hold of the needle valve to kill engine, it breaks loose and flies about ten feet hitting the pool ladder and landing in the middle of the pool too the bottom it went ... after standing there for a minute or so laughing hysterically... i look down to find that it had broken the two mounts i had it mount to the board with from the vibration of the nose cone... no idea where it landed
blew it out and change the back-plate and she's running again!!

Roger- you have to start videoing these events! good to hear you weren't injured, and the engine survived the swim!
