Heck yeah. I have a couple of TD .09s that I have never run, but always wanted a Jr size plane. Wunna these days, wunna these days...rogermharris wrote:Well it seems I'm now the owner of a 79. .09 medallion

Thanks for all the attention to my bladder videos. Jim, jpvelo, and I have both simplified our methods in various ways, but I am glad they're helping.
On my phone at the beach, so no protracted blathering tonight.
See y'all in the funny pages.

Roger, I think you and I bought our .09 medallions from the same guy! I have not seen much on these engines and don't know how good or popular they are. I'm looking for that info...

Well I would imagine the r/c versions are more popular but expected to see more bidding on it

I was watching those auctions. Who nabbed the one with the Hiscott style muffler/throttle?

I didn't but I have all the medallions ,well my 51 is not authentic but anyway they are good easy running little sucker of fuel . They are not like the TD and not as strong but if its a pain to get started without pressure then...

I believe that was me. It was missing the black throttle ring.VUgearhead wrote:I was watching those auctions. Who nabbed the one with the Hiscott style muffler/throttle?
Correction, that was not me. Mine has a throttle ring, not a Hiscott style.

Re: lookie what the mailman brought me!
Well I got my .09 Medallions in the mail yesterday and lo and behold, one of them is brand spankin' new! Now I need to buy a wrench for it. And find a suitable plane to build for it. Open to suggestions...
