Very nice.  I would be in for something 09 - 19 size.

Bob[/quote]I like that. You could use a cue stick to mold the fuse with CF matte or fiberglass. Split it in half to add bulkheads and the controls

Roger, I see you set up your horseshoe backplate with the needle valve inboard. If I may make a suggestion, When the needle valve is hanging out in the air as it is, it acts like a tuning fork. Not only does this make for a erratic engine run,, it also wears out the needle and or the spraybar. Cutting the needle valve down as short as possible reduces this problem. Depending on the threads of the needle valve, shorter ones were made available. If I don't cut them down, I wrap a rubber band one time around the needle valve stem in a figure 8 and the other side of the loop goes around the entire front of the fuse. This stabilizes the needle and also provides more friction to hold it there. Ken

Thanks ken!

I was wondering about the susceptibility of damage to the needle and even snapping off from vibration. I will see if I have a shorter one or cut this one down.

Good ol' Hank at Texastimers has shorter needles... for future reference. I talked with him on the phone once, and he's a pretty cool guy. Why isn't that a surprise. What a hobby!

Fine looking bird Roger.
I think it needs a little dihedral in the wings & some R/C control.
A few adjustments & that would make a great park flyer. Cool

Tony

if you paid for a bipe kit and have pm'ed me your address again.
i have so many pm's in my in box that many of them disappeared.

going to see how shipping goes.. the bipe kit with a box is too heavy for first class mail so i'm sending my wife to the post office with a couple boxes tomorrow. may need to ask for a few $$ to cover the added shipping costs Thumbs Up

O.K.  i wife made it to the post office today (she had been ill)

two kits went today USPS and one ups.
the shipping cost is about $10 for USPS so PLEASE shoot me another $5 when you can if you purchased a bipe kit to cover the additional shipping.

the rest of the kits will go out either tomorrow or monday.

maybee we should start a bipe build thread??.
can't wait to see how they all come out!

oh.. and i will post the decal set i made here.  if nothing else it will give you the correct pilot and machine gun decals
