Re: cox formule 1
the cars are here
pictures later
i am now disasembeling the engine and gears
the backplats is okey
so its the firsth black backplate i saw that still works
and i am missing one of bearings
and one of the bearings is a brass ring
so lets see if i can find 2 of those bearings tomorrow
the engine has good compression

Re: cox formule 1
well update time
i drove the car today
wow what a smooth driver
but i have some problems
i cant get it to idle
well i can but then its slower then walking speed
so it i close the neede for more rpm i found out
more fuel giver the engine more power but less rpm
less fuel means more speed
to little fuel and the engine cant pull the car
so i have tuned it for kind of okey
but i cant get it to idle
does anyone here has some advice for me
ps i am running the stock backplate witch is not broken (somehow)

Re: cox formule 1
How do you start the engine?i got some problem when i twist the wheels start.
My clutch bell will not lock the one way bearing to start the engine.i need to insert a small paper for lock clutch bell and one way bearing ,then i can start the engine for no problem.
