Houston Shindig
Greetings,
I am wondering if anybody from this forum is going to go to the Houston shindig?
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2412902
I am going to try and make it on Saturday, don't have a plane ready yet but I would like to see the people there and I usually re-up my AMA at the contest. Sometimes there is some equipment for private sale by attendees.
Last time I was there was in '92, when I ended up in the hospital with shredded fingers from somebody walking through the pit and tripping over the laid-out control lines. This jerked the airplane that my mechanic was holding while I was tweaking the needle on a screaming K&B 4011.
This injury did not precipitate my absence from flying for many years, my ex-wife's behavior did. Anyway, I'm trying to get back in after a long absence and perhaps I'll see somebody from this forum, I hope.
Later,
Forgetful
