Wow, what a surprise, stopping by and seeing my own engine on the sidebar Smile
Thanks everyone! Here's the engine installed on my almost complete "American Boy". It's a Musciano design, available as a kit but this one is scratch built.

lol! Yeah, for some reason my pics seem to get inverted nowadays when I post them the first time. So I just post them, then download, flip and re-post them. Weird, as both of them show the right way up in the folder Huh...

Maybe my camera has the Australian settings active Computer Issues

Not really, but the engine is about 1/8" longer than a regular long-tank one. I would think that the volume is about the same 8cc, maybe just a little more.

For some reason, back in the early '80s, golden bees were not available in Finland, so this range extender kit was quite popular. Black Widow was available but it was considered as a high performance engine and a lot more expensive, and that was the only one with the long tank. Of course I was maybe 12-13 years old back then so I didn't get to many hobby shops, but I haven't seen one single Golden bee for sale in Finland, nor have I got answers to my wanted ads Huh...  So maybe there was not that many imported. On the other hand, 5 out of my 6 Babe Bees that I have bought used, have had the red tank extender kit installed Smile
