Not sure about the engine size or makenitroairplane wrote:What engine does it have?
You fly CL?
When you say tiny do you mean TINY?
But I'd guess it's at least a 15, w/span i can't
Remember not more than 20(ish) inches. I'll have a root round Johnies garage
In the Morning for a proper look.
As for c/l, not since my first Futaba purchase.

Re: So...................
It's a two speed Carb. primarily use for R/C, much like the two speed needle that Thimble-Drome offered, only this is more of a carb. as it has a butterfly to control the airflow, operated by flipping up or down by the early R/C escapment.

Now I never knew the Hornet was ever produced in R/C form, sorry, but IMO what a waste! That motor was built to haul F/F contest models vertically into the sky, not putter around in front of an R/C model!
Anyone tell me when the Hornet went out of production?

Sorry to interrupt, but I got 2 of those NIP in my store. it is #2440.
Mr.COX
You didn`t interrupt on me, Thanks for the info.;I may have to grab one from you. Just 1 , I don`t want to be so greedy as to not leave some for the next guy. These are great imho, I just wish they were bout 3/4oz. fuel capacity.
I even modded 1 for my G-mark .03r/c , works nicely.
Thanks for the heads up!!

But so it is with a lot of things, Indra. For example, four-wheel drive vehicles owned by people who would never think of taking them off-road. The alure is that if they wanted to they could. Pride of possession weighs heavilly as it does with my Cox engines like my NIB Cox TD .010 which makes a great conversion piece with visitors to our home.
It might be said that collectors are the preseveres rather than the exploiters of the Cox species. Collectors keep Cox values up and thereby insure that those who are the purchasers of Coxes treat and preserve them properly. Dread the days when Coxes were consider expendable. How many went into the trash with a crashed PT-19 no one knows.
Ditto old cars and other items of historic interest.
