Who found this forum through a link
Just wondering who found this forum from a link i posted and where from (RCU or RCG).
Thank you
Thank you
Re: Who found this forum through a link
I did, at rcgroups.com. As you know, I mentioned that in my informal introduction in my first post yesterday. Maybe we can add an introduction forum for new members.
I hope this place takes off. We cox owners need a good resource, as do the millions of people who are getting back into it since Bernie and others have showed up on the scene lately. My planes were collecting dust because I had no source for parts or fuel until the miracle of Internet marketing came to the rescue.

Re: Who found this forum through a link
oh, like a site which teaches them the basics of operating these little machines, so we don't
have the same topics (fuel, right prop, etc.) over and over again?
that would be a good idea. a little beginner's guide.

I think he meant an introduction om how to use all th site features.
Re: Who found this forum through a link
...and that too. but i think it would still be a good idea to add a cox faq, as we already have 3 or 4 topics about the ffuel mixture (including mine )

I think i will start an FAQ later and maybe make itt a sticky.
Re: Who found this forum through a link
Actually I meant a forum where new members can say stuff like,"Hi, my name is Dillard Flameout, I fly solid oak gliders with Cox Pee Wees. Boy am I happy to find this forum, Maybe y'all can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong." I hope to learn a lot from you folks in the near future." A lot of forums do not give post-count credit within the intro forum.
