Stack all of those in your wish list,,for a quick home inventory check for next time.
Maybe pick up a extra overhaul kit, doesent hurt to have those extra pieces, for a "just in case".
I could sit here and spend your money all day long,,lol.

I know how that works!
Just one more dollar... "HOLY CR@P! HOW DO I HAVE $50 IN MY CART???"
Especially bad with Ebay auctions.

I have placed a couple orders with Bernie and Matt. Both orders came with free "cox powered" stickers. Not sure if they are still doing that but, the orders were pretty recent. Might save you .98 cents.

Free "Cox powered" stickers have alway been included with my orders from Bernie. (Most recently 10 days ago)
May be it's because I'm such a GREAT guy?

Re: First Order from Bernie...
Dude:
The size of your parts order should contain a variety of parts for the different engines you wish to maintain.
I'd also get a supply of gaskets: crankcase, venturi, fuel pick-up tubes w/springs, rebuild kits etc.
Bernie's shipping charge is a flat $3.95 regardless the size of the order.
Go ahead! Treat yourself!

I get all of my bits from Bernie, his delivery time, even from Canada, is nearly as quick as I get from English companies! trouble is, as soon as I place an order I discover other stuff I need, so I have to keep paying shipping, when, if I only waited, and thought about it, I could get it all at once, Duuuuu!
(Oh yes, you do still get free stickers, had a delivery this morning)

There appears to be a very bad case of that going around. I know that I have been bedly afflicted with a case of that.

Re: First Order from Bernie...
One way to prevent memory loss of items from Bernie is to place them in a "shopping cart when you discover the need. A "shopping cart" item can always be deleted prior to placing the order.
It is not at all uncommon for me to have twelve to fifteen items in the cart at one time. Then when reason sets it any excess my be deleted.
Works well for me but not for Bernie. Bernie and his helper Nicole are first-rate, IMO.

Re: First Order from Bernie...
The only thing I added was a KB backplate. I really didn't want to go over $25; you can really get carried away.
As SDave added, it would clear my shopping cart every 10 minutes. Which was VERY annoying. Looking forward to it! About how long does it take to ship?
I bought 3 stickers. Oh well, two for the airplane, one for the toolbox...

Dude:
Bernie's shipments from Williams Lake, BC usually take about three weeks until delivery to the US. Remember they must be processed through customs on both sides of the Canadian/US border and that international security is tight in the light of 9/11.
Thank you terrorists. You changed our world forever!

DANGIT!
I really needed those parts for my entry to "Cox Engine of the Month"
But even more importantly, for the Tach Race, which I believe has a deadline of January 1st.

Just heard a blurb on the news that images of Santa Claus at school might upset some kids because they don't believe in him due to there religion.
It takes about a week down to Casle Rock from the border for my orders,,not any longer than that.

Re: First Order from Bernie...
Shipping to where we live, MFDude, usually takes right at or just under 2 weeks. That's been my experience for the past couple of years anyway.

Delivery to the UK takes around 2 weeks on average, which aint bad! seems to compare very well with the US, I find this about average for stuff coming here from anywhere in North America. I can get some .049 parts from a company in England, but he only stocks a small selection, and nothing for any other Cox engines, (I assume he is probably supplied by Bernie anyway!) and the shipping cost to me is exactly the same as Bernie's!, although obviously the delivery is a bit quicker.

Re: First Order from Bernie...
I believe some of you are forgetting that this is the holiday season and that winter is upon us. Shipments across international borders just take longer under such conditions.
Further Williams Lake BC isn't exactly at the epicenter of the universe. Look at a map and see for yourself.
If you doubt me ask Bernie himself.
Relax and don't get your tail in a knot. Have another spiked egg nog.

The Tach Race is scheduled for the 7th, with the hopeful deadline of the 4th, but I'm not gonna turn away engines as long as I get them by the 7th. I just need to allow a few days to sort them to their classes before we start burning fuel. You ought to be fine. AND remember...this IS supposed to be FUN !

Thanks Mr. Rusty, I think I'm good for now.
