That is certainly a work of art!
Is this your own design or built from plans? I think I year is quite quick for a build like this - a single cylinder engine is spread over months for me!
Setting this up for running - valves, timing and induction may require some patience but don't rush it!

Re: my new 7 radial engine
Chris, it's great to see you back. I was recently telling someone here about your earlier multi-Cox-cylinder project. I suppose one could say you are a masterful artist in the medium of physics. In other words, it's a beauty. Thanks for dropping in and showing us your work. Hope you're having good fun too.

Re: my new 7 radial engine
One of my passions, Truly exceptional work
Sure wish I had taken the time to learn the fine art of running a lathe, mill, tooling and all the knowledge of metallurgy needed.
I always wanted to design and make my own bullet launcher, a miniaturization of the 7.62 XM 168 Minigun the Army taught me all about on Cobra AH1 helicopters. I personally designed several product improvements for it during the early 70s to make feeding and safeing more reliable. In fact they were the only Army Incentive program cash awards I ever received
Chris that there is a working piece of art...congrats, well done!

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
The sound is excellent, as is the run quality. You really nailed it.

Truly marvelous Chris! Congratulations! I would love to see the control-panel! Are there 7 separate glow-drivers with continuity-confirmation on ea.? Are you using a fuel-pump/regulator? I'm just curious about your start-up procedure. I am in awe!!!!

Re: my new 7 radial engine
Absolutely awesome Chris this engine is beautiful I've always have had a soft spot for the round engines (Nothing sounds like a radial especially like a single row). I love working on them every chance I get. My personal favorite is the old P&W R985 Wasp Jr. quite a few where I'm at with the crop dusters. Cudo's man! (Bandit)

Yes my power panel have 7 dc/dc converter with a led for continuity glow. I'm not fuel pump or regulator. The start up prcedure is very simply, just electric starter (starter home made with a car starter)
