Painted my PT-19 ?
Well Kim got me talked into doing some painting the other day . And after messing with the air brush for 45 mins. i decided to put the stuff 50/50 cut paint / thinner on with a brush well you can probably figure how that went , the first coat was THIN , soooo i put the other two on from the bottle this was the fuse i started with and i must say I am not good at papering / prepping for this ..............any way i did get the sprayer to work after it was thinned 25/75 thinner so i did finish the fuse and then to the wing..I also broke the fin and had to glue it back and i have fixed the tail wheel also and with a BB 5 cc tank and gear up front will balance right at the wing tip front It was nose heavy bad! Of coarse after all that dope and primer sanding paint it will be different . This is my scratch build and will have to wait till next PT-19 FLY-A-THON........ O yeah the stupid tape (the good blue stuff) pulled alittle paint off May have looked better naked that that thats all fokes

I think it looks really good. The fuselage looks great. Should be a good plane. Don't sweat the balance until it's finished. It's never balanced where us novices think it's going to be anyway.
