Thanks Rusty. When I got it home last night, I wiped all the Sig Champion off of it and thought; "OK.. this model's gonna' fly come hell or high water!"... Well.. It's pouring like hell outside right now! lol!

sorry guys I tried and she jumped in the air no problem but when I went to level it out the ground go closer than I would have like it too .. I patched it back and wee tried again ..just got alittle further but not even a circle , I am embarrassed Embarassed

Cant show the other video right now takes so long to upload to youtube ...Getback?

Which one, you mean Mark Boesen? They had storms this week, so that might be a problem for Mark B.

Looks like it's a wrap. Can't wait to see what the judges think. Thanks for the contest, Jim. It was a huge benefit for CEF in so many ways. Lots of building and learning happened, even if some of them love building more than flying. It was probably a learning experience for you as the CD and promoter of the event. I'll do it again next year.

Now for me, it's on to the Traveling Engine. Probably a couple of video installments starting Sunday. I'm going up to the Joe Nall today.

I'm out.. it rained all day here yesterday. It serves me right for waiting so long. Thank You Jim, this contest was still a very positive thing for me. It encouraged me to build a scale model to strict specifications from 3-view drawings and also to build my own fuel tank, all of which I'd never done before.

Congratulations to all contestants who were able to complete a flight and post a video. Although these models are small.. it was no small undertaking to get them to fly!

I'd also like to thank Jim for all his hard work and coming up with the idea. Sorry I didn't work harder on it, it was a blast even if I didn't complete the race. We should really plan another event for this year.

I don't think Jim ever mentioned a time frame on the judging. Or did he?

I have a feeling I won't be in the top three so I am in no hurry. That's ok though as it was a learning experience for me.

I think if I ever did this competitively I would build a Clown Racer or maybe a Foxberg. Sharing a circle seems daunting. I would probably take down my plane along with the other racers lol!

I think I have a pretty good chance unless Navion blows me out of the sky. But no, Jim didn't say, and I expect the three volunteer judges will get to it when they get to it. That's fine with me, I sure appreciate their help. Y'all know I'm just the excitable type. Suspense drives me nuts.
