FOUND: Medallion .09 Cylinder
Looking for a medallion .09 cylinder. Doesn't have to have a piston. I just need a cylinder. I came across a factory RC throttle control kit but it doesn't fit this cylinder. So I'm in search of one it does fit.
Edit: found one!

So it needs to be a ground cylinder?

Re: FOUND: Medallion .09 Cylinder
I honestly don't know. It's the precision throttle control that has the movable spray bar. What seems to be holding it off is the thickness of one of the thinner areas on the cylinder. The top seems like it'd go on. The bottom is what's hanging up. But I thought this throttle control was generic for any .09 medallion.Cribbs74 wrote:So it needs to be a ground cylinder?

Re: FOUND: Medallion .09 Cylinder
I know forum members have the throttle control .09's.
Hopefully they will chime in and tell you what you need. Isn't the muffler clamp on? Is your current cylinder stepped?

It is clamp on. The cylinder is stepped.
Side question, what porting did the medallion .09 cylinder have? I ask because there a high compression .09 head on mine and I'm just curious if the cylinder is original.

Re: FOUND: Medallion .09 Cylinder
The trombone style throttle used a thin walled cylinder. I can get pics later of mine apart.

I don't think the later ones were with the thick walled cylinder.

Re: FOUND: Medallion .09 Cylinder
I took the cylinder off my throttle/muffler medallion 09 with the precision ground cylinder and it has 2 bypass ports confirming the later .09's has 2 bypass ports.

Yep. That was the idea. The engine looks pretty dirty, so it's good to take some fuel soaking to clean it up. But I'm happy with it. Gotta find a head too though.

Probably a nice display stand.
Unless someone has a suggestion for a ARTF fit for an .09?
