it would help if you gave your preferences. for instance do you want a .020 reed or TD engine, same for the .049 size. I believe the .010 size only comes in the TD version.
also what is your price range? I have .049 reed engines in the $25 range, a couple of dragonfly .049 reed type engines with extended size attached plastic tank in the $22 - $26 each range depending on which size tank. also couple of Medallion .049 or TD .051 size engines a little more expensive. I also have a couple of .020 reed engines. 1 - with a nice metal tank for $25 and 1 - with a bent meta tank a missing a screw mount, ( as mentioned before on CEF).
the best thing to do is when some one answers your post is to PM, (private message), them and ask for details if you don't want them shared with everyone.
I usually don't respond to requests or "engines wanted" lately because the last couple of times when I offered something I never heard a response. so I don't know if they didn't want the engine or the price was to high.

I thought a long time before posting this out loud.
At age 11, I suppose cox.020 might be a example of how dysfunctional current school systems are. As much as I am concerned about that semi political topic, I have seen this type of post a lot on other forums.
My opinion is a deliberate misspelling often indicates the poster intends to appear to be something he is not (troll or looking to get a cheap sympathy buy?)
I taught children for a small part of my life and have seen most of the NORMAL misspelling of the words in cox.020's post.
"Hi i am tring to build my cox engine collection. plez if anyone can help i can not find any thang rezonoby priced one bay.
if sum one could help me i whuld be thankful"
Note that "engine, collection, anyone, priced, and could" are spelled correctly
On the other hand: Perhaps cox.020 is just trying to be "internet cute'....
Either way I am mildly annoyed.

Easy guys. Note the poster is eleven years old and probably doesn't have a clue as to engine values.

Let's be thankful we have a youngster interested in this hobby.
When my son started school in the first grade, the teachers couldn't even spell. By the third grade we demolished our financial security and put him through private school. College was less expensive. Poor spelling and grammar is now exacerbated by "text speak." But I agree, lets not pile on the original poster. If we want to discuss it, we can start a dedicated topic.
Personally, I come here to get away from thinking about such troubling things.

And Rusty, let's not "pile on" the problems of public education either.

Well, back to the original track...I've got several engines I'd be willing to part with to help a new person get going. Would just like a little more info is all.
If the young man would PM me, we can probably work something out.

Does your computer have a spellchecker? Try to pay more attention to it.
You bought a Ryobi engine?

Yeah, I had one. Ended up selling it for parts because I couldn't find a replacement reed valve/diaphragm.

I could spell better than that guy when I was 7 years old. How is a person able to bypass the correct spelling of even common words? I'm out of this one!
