Here's the plane the engine was made for, the 'Denight Special' is probably the rarest of the four Goodyear racers that Aurora offered.

That is a very stylish model. I hope that this engine wasn't from a busted one. This engine shows no sign of being run!
I got this engine thinking it was a Cox Ranger -
