Ace Cox Reed Valve Throttle
Ace Cox Reed Valve Throttle
We have recently come across a few Ace reed throttles as seen in the picture. I believe this is all that the kit consisted of (the two pieces in the picture), but want to confirm before we list them for sale. Anyone have experience with these and can confirm/deny if everything is there?
Also, anyone happen to have a copy of the instructions?
Thanks in advance!
Best Regards, Matt

I have instructions I can scan in for you. There was supposed to be a rubber coupler for the needle valve to couple to a servo control.

Thanks for the replies guys!
I believe the rubber bit is attached to the end of the plunger as it sits now.
Sure a copy would be great! Basically, I want to include a copy to whoever purchases the kits for reference.

yup
its all there if memory serves me. They work pretty well,I love the scaled down version on my peewee020 too......yes thats a big hint hint Matt@EXModelengines.
The rubber tube on the throttle needle`s end is there simply so you can use threaded control linkage from your servos, like the allthread on Goldberg nyrod control pushrods just threds right on in there and walla,no complex control rod bending eyc.

Thanks for the file Jason!
Jaspur_x,
Something for us to look into, and I do have an idea of how I would do it.

No problem,I`d be glad to help if you would like. All the engine mod required is remove the little intake screen if present but I`m sure you knew that.
