Never seen these sites till now (Airfoil Tools or Profili) Interesting ! Damn Rats but it is die cut and that don't make since to me ? / Guess my memory ant what it use to bee LOL Now to see if there is enough of the parts to build it even though i don't have the time right now . Eric,
What are you missing? I will be making templates of everything before I build mine.
I did note the rib sheets are light, the plywood is thick, and the tail group is on heavy/hard balsa.
While this is Gen1 for me, I'm thinking of wing-mounting a fuel tank and trimming off an inch of the fuselage. The goal is to minimize the barbell affect, and reduce the need to offset a heavy engine with tail weight. That change is Gen2.

Re: Sig Akromaster build.
Jim, I don't understand what you mean by wing mounting a tank. If your thinking of mounting a tank in the wing, I would highly consider doing otherwise. I don't know why you would do that as the problem isn't so much the balance of the Akro, it's the wing area. You want to keep the tank as close as possible to your engine. You also don't want a wedge tank with it's pickup waaay outboard. You want a longer thinner tank. You could also sink a tank into the doubler by removing the material and allowing the tank to set into the fuse. Just keep in mind with sinking a tank that you allow enough removed material to allow for up and down adjustments.
If your using a light engine, the Akro is just fine as built. Don't make the flaps operable and don't make the controls too fast.

Re: Sig Akromaster build.
Ken,
I'm concerned about the weight of the engine. Most of the old posts show guys were using a Fox .15. I don't have one. I do have Medallions, Big Migs, OS-LAs (a pile of them), and a Magnum XLS. I think the Magnum is the heaviest.
If I were doing a parade build, I'd use the Gilbert .11 in the stash.
I'll weigh what I have, and compare to a Fox .15. If I can get close, then I'll build stock.
I did see a video of one with a Medallion .15. The guy was wringing it out pretty good!
