Patrick's Ebay "Sandblaster" gets it's first run on the Airport Ramp !
After terrorizing the Skunk Works with a late-night test run in the front yard...Patrick unleashes his Cox Sandblaster on the airport's south ramp !!
Cars really aren't my "thing" but it IS fun watching Patrick chase this thing across the ramp! The rubber bands on the back tires were my idea to help give the Sandblaster a little more traction. It's hard-rubber wheels were bouncing and spinning on the concrete, and it picked up considerable speed after my "mod"!!!
R/C might be cool, but there's a LOT more cardio and calorie burning involved in one of these retro free runners !!!

Ha, looks like fun, but I agree, it
needs a steering servo.
Good video.

I'm sure glad I don't have to outrun my planes!

Definately needs a servo for steering. The GTP Nissan is alot faster. No way to catch up with it if you lose radio connection.

Yeah, I think Patrick was counting on it being a lot faster than what it was ! If he gets another one, I'll probably help him find an old radio and see if we can rig up something.
