That would be great!
"Hey I just pulled a last week"
Totally kidding of course, Jason's collection is phenominal. It's kind of like a living, revolving library of information too. It's also nice to have a serious collector on here to glean info from.

That's a nice piece Jason! I have to wonder.. if you decide to run it; whether it would be worth fitting 128 TPI NVA's to help synchronize/balance the 2 cylinders? The gear-drives should get plenty of oil through the front housing I would imagine..
Re: Newest addition to my collection
Cool man,
If you decide to run it take a vid!

Seller claims it to be new. If it is I'll keep it that way. If it has been run I will fire it up.
The 128 TPI NVAs is a good idea. These twins are hard to get synched up. I have run my other geared twins.

Don't worry. I'm moving slow also. Waiting for deals is a real test of patience. There's always something making me think "oh I need one of those!" And I have to tell myself, "the time will come. Wait for it!" Haha

Yes g.o some times you just have to be patient i picked up two helicopters on weekend like new electrics one on front of box price from hobbie store 3 hundred dollars the other 1hundred seventy got both for sixty dollars one needs batterie pack the other missing charger looking forward to trying them in the spring! I dont have a clue how to fly them but will learn.they are sixteen or seventeen inches long.I thinking of starting a cox helicopter collection for display in my hobbie room because they seem like a crazy thing to run but cool styles to look at!you know no controls and all.

Well I've got an Attack Cobra in the box I'm trying to sell. Missing the side guns, but should fly with no issues. I don't believe it's ever been run. Someone bought it on eBay, but hasn't paid yet. I'll let you know if it's still available if you'd be interested.

I need more storage....
This is only about 1/4 of what I have. Thinking glass display case that's covered for dust control.
I have more engines on the way too.....

What's your address?
You might be able to find some old department store glass counters. They have big wide shelves and can hold a lot wothout taking up a ton of room.

If you have an IKEA store nearby, check it out, they have a bunch of different glass cases with weird names but decent quality. Many of them have readiness for led light installation.
A simple and relatively cheap one is "Detolf", and "Fabrikör" is a cool retro styled alternative.

I have a bunch of "Billy" bookshelves in our study, you can get glass doors for them too. Mine are currently full of books and such but I'll try to clear out some space for my "cool old technical stuff" collection

Re: Newest addition to my collection
While reading the posts (always dangerous) I dis a search for Cox .15's, flicked off a possible cheap conquest for Greg but he already has one so I started searching 09's and found a very nice Tee Dee 09 in France with a buy now of NZ$123.00 that's about US$83.00 which I didn't think was too bad. It will go well beside the 09 Medallion. Shipping to go on top of that but that the price of living down under.
