Three new addition
Hi there,
First of all, Happy New Year for every fan of Cox engines !
Just got this 3 engines :
Space Hopper is in good shape, but lack of the original spinner.
The RR1 seems to be pretty old with the silver/blue color scheme, comes with #2 cylinder and what seems to be a W glow head (out of order). Not sure if the cylinder is the right one, according to many sources it should be a 2 bypass #1 cylinder ? The piston is very tight and seems to have edges rounded on top ! However a nice engine, the spinner seems not to be original, though.
The Texaco is new, unrun.
Regards,
Vincent

Re: Three new addition
A nice little score you have there. Always wanted a Texaco engine, if for nothing more that to hear it run and see if it sounds different than the other reedies as it spins a bigger prop at lower RPM. Just something I have been curious about.
