Canadian PT-19
Never seen this one before.

scotty10001 wrote:This auction is for a PT-19 that looks ready to fly, in a very neat deep red, almost purple color! In very good shape, have a look at the pictures. The 049 engine has good compression and the glow plug glows but I have not started it. Cox control line included. Has a like-new propeller and all parts appear to match the red color including firewall, bellcrank, wings, fuselage, tail surfaces and accessories. There is one crease in the rudder, overall in very good condition. Note that this is the rarer model with the Canadian Maple Leaf insignia on the wings.

I have built and flown many RC and, when younger, some CL models over the years....I have also seen and owned lots of PT19's but never one setup with the Canadian 'roundels'....the estate owner said he bought it all new and I am the second owner of the red PT19 and I have not altered it at all from how I found it aside from new rubber bands.

Re: Canadian PT-19
Ive owned PT-19's in 2 blue and yellow combinations as well as the white one with the red decals but I never knew COX made a Purple PT-19. It's definitely neat!
It Just goes to show that no matter how old you are, you never stop learning something new.
