I recently purchased a Cox Dragonfly .049 engine and am interested in it's history. Why was it made, where was it used? How hard is it to start? etc. I am currently looking at Admin's Cox Engine page/website and reading up on it. Was it made primarily as a RC engine with a large tank? thanks in advance for any responses.

edited 10-27-12 10:40p.m. PST - p.s. for some reason it took several minutes to get to the link. once there it downloaded quickly.

LOL, I write crap about mine. I should really get more technical with my engines. Did you download the manual for it yet?

Instruction Sheets

I believe the hex snap starter came into play around the early 1980s.
