Picture Perfect
I was cleaning up after flying when I decided to snap a pic. I used a 5.5x4 MA on the Baby Clown. It flew a little quicker and I almost put it in the ground twice. All in all it was a nice evening flight and I even flew a few laps with the little Gem. Boy those Pee Wees run out of fuel fast!!!

Yeah those 4" pitch props really add some spunk don't they. Did it make it turn wider loops than the 3" pitch?
Looks like you have a nice mirror finish on the Clown. Glad she didn't smack the ground. Still hoping you never crash it, eh?

Yes, it did make wider turns and much faster too. The sun didn't help either. I usually fly a little later in the evening when the sun is lower. I guess I have to concede to the fact it will hit the ground at some point. It's just one of my better builds so I hope that is a long ways away.
BTW those MA props are sharp. Received my first prop nick when piston popped back under compression. As soon as it happened I pulled the clip and walked back into the shop and grabbed some fine sandpaper.

Yeah I dull and round them when I take them out of the bag. Be sure and get all the molding leftovers off. 4" props aren't so good for stunting in my experience. Kind of like going up hill in 4th gear. But for speed laps they're great. I bought some 2" pitch APCs for stunting but never got around to trying them.
