Yesterday , I had the pleasure to witness the Cox .020 heli take a sky trip which it probably hasn't done in 30 years. I remember when these came out which had my uncles and cousins scrambling to buy them. These are neat models. The problem with them is, they just work too well. That little tank puts the heli out of sight. Our flight was quite short yesterday monitoring the tank for a few second run. This little engine is what brought to my attention how a .020 can disappear in 15 seconds. We tried to launch rich, the rotors would hardly turn fast enough to sustain flight. The funny part was when the rotors were turning but the heli just wouldn't go airobrne, the heli would just sit on it's gear on the grass. Just prior to the tank running out, the engine would lean pretty good which would lift the heli and flip it upside down. This is a great little piece of Cox nostalgia and really a neat little engineering feat. Ken
