Try black Permatex RTV gasket maker from the auto parts store.

If this is not available you can give ,,Elring Dirko HT'' a try. I don't know if it's available in your country but I know it works well in one of my engines. It can be removed without residues.

Whatever you use you shall be less plenty with this sealing compound.

I would prefer something ,,elastic'' which can be easily removed. BTW the dirko is expensive too. So if you need it only for the cox models I would look for a alternative.

In Argentina, the Permatex RTV costs Usd 10.

Silicon Bathroom sealant from your local DIY centre.
However be careful when using all these pastes because it's very easy
to block the fuel tube pick up in the bottom of the tank.

The best 'cone (silicone) that I've found for this purpose is by Permatex and is used to seal car windshields. It's clear and reasonably fluid enough to flow into into leaking areas.

Don't have the part number at hand but if you wish, I can get it when I go out to our motorhome later today. Let me known Juan.

The Permatex I use stays rubbery and tough. It sticks tight but never hardens, just turns to rubber. Could you have misread it? Try a dab on a test area and see what it does. It's as hard as it will get after 24 hours.

That sounds like what you have, though I don't recall it being called "Ultra."

Well I´m going to buy it but if is something elastic what I need, I have in my house three types of silicone. I am dedicated to making silicone molds and I have a lot of variety of it. Maybe silicone can work.

I have sealed all sorts of gaskets on car engines with it. It holds back gasoline, oil and water at all temperatures. I think you'll like it and find many uses for it. RTV stands for Room Temperature Vulcanization.

I changed the plastic carb body for an aluminum carb body and I bought a Glow Starter Plug Igniter Rechargeable.
Those things made the difference. Here is a video of my Tee Dee starting.
