Re: Now Buying Cox Engines & Related Parts
We have 40,000+ of the plastic 3/4" tailwheeels and a few other choice items in huge quantities that we can trade you for $$'s
Jokes aside, a good idea Matt and hope you do well with your project.

Re: Now Buying Cox Engines & Related Parts
I might have some engines you could have for cheap/credit, I'll check when I get back on the 11th.
Re: Now Buying Cox Engines & Related Parts
What would you give me for some venturi gaskets cut from fuel line and hand cut out reeds from floppy disk material?
Sounds like a good idea! I may have a little something that I could part with, I'll have to see.

Thanks Bernie. Those sound like worthwhile items indeed
Sure, anything is welcome...within reason lol

Seems like you could string all those plastic wheels together like beads and make a hammock or something.

We already donated 5,000 of the wheels to the Salvation Army for their craft classes as well as 5,000 propellers that were brittle, together with 2,000 spools of Dacron control line that we have enough of to last into the next century.

I like the hammock idea!
You could like braid the Dacron lines and make wallets and stuff

Just how big is a box with 40,000 little wheels in it?

Re: Now Buying Cox Engines & Related Parts
Goodness Bernie, why on earth would you buy so many? Think about how many people are actually missing the tailwheels on their Cox RTF planes...

Maybe you could do a sale on the Dacron? I think your asking 1.95 for 2 spools at the moment correct?

Re: Now Buying Cox Engines & Related Parts
hhmm that's like 8 wheelie bins could melt them down and turn them into 010 tanks
Re: Now Buying Cox Engines & Related Parts
Here is the preliminary design drawing. I estimate you have enough wheels in stock for two hammocks in the initial production run. Good luck

No kidding, I seriously think you should make a Cox Hammock! You could hang it up near your huge engine collection and take an afternoon nap among all your engines.

They are already sale-priced 2 for $1.29 or 10 for $5.75
