Guess who got caught using illegal fireworks...
There are far more people in this state who have a larger hoard and are using far larger fireworks than what was being used. No, it wasn't me who got caught LOL it was my cousin. He just text me and said a police officer walked into his backyard and saw him lighting strips of firecrackers. The cop said he only showed up because someone from the apartments down the block called the police on him. The cop had to take his 3 strips of firecrackers just because they are illegal and the cop had to do his job. He got a warning saying that if he has to come back, there will be a ticket. So no ticket for him...that's the only good thing.

Glad he wasn't ticketed. Unfotunately you can't use the "everyone else is doing it too" excuse to get you out of trouble.
Sounds like the officer was pretty leniant. Here in rural Oklahoma it sounded like Gettysburg........ It was quite a show, the distant neighbors set off a fortune of fireworks just across the treeline. My kids loved it and it cost me nothing!
