Who can forget that tune from his show, just about anyone has to whistle it while they hear it.

Oh, that makes me sad. My wife, Holley told me about it. Feels like something is missing.

DO you remember the seventies show Salvage One? Andy Griffith was a junkyard owner making a rocket to go to the moon. Certainly a legend not to be forgotten. Ken

No. I'll look it up on Hulu or Netflix.

Yeah, remember the scene where Andy's character (using a Corvette) was demonstrating the difference between an "Old-School" Rocket launch, and his theory of "Exponential Acceleration"!

Re: RIP Andy Griffith
Just a couple days ago me and Tiffany were talking about getting in trouble as kids and what are parents would say or do. I mentioned the fact that mom, dad, aunt and uncle would always say that they were going to call Sheriff Taylor if we didn't straighten out. Being from the south initially, we knew exactly who that person was and we played it straight immediately.
Very ironic that we had that discussion.
RIP Sheriff Taylor.
