Are you looking at my Bird?
Did you call my Pint a Poof?
These are the traditional British beginnings of Fisticuffs.
Since yesterday it's getting in a queue at the
Petrol Station.
Since last night all those in Norrfeest Laaaanden
are being guarded by the Rozzers, probably cos
they don't want to have to walk to work.

British English or American English? The Brits can be pretty obtuse.

Re: Are you looking at my Bird?
I just speak it in a English accent in my head and it makes sense. Yet again I went to one of the most diverse schools in all of georgia. Meadowcreek High. everyone calls it Ghetocreek,
Re: Are you looking at my Bird?
Ya, sure, blame it on the Truckers.
See what happens when you dont show just a little respect for the big rigs. Without trucks, country's freeze,,litteraly.
I see that security is one of the concern's of the Unite fellas, are these drivers being threatened or beat up?? or have they had some serious burnout hours this winter with lots of drive time and want a few more sheckles??.
Our company drivers voted out Teamsters a few months back, and so far it has worked out, but the owner has been hinting at a big jump in medical,,which is inevitable I guess. I took a hit on my Teamsters pension when we voted out, but it is rebounding ever so slowly with my new investments.

Re: Are you looking at my Bird?
As I said in the other thread relating to this "panic at the pumps", I'm laughing over here, but that aside, THERE AINT NO STRIKE, there aint even a DATE for a strike, it's just a threat that there MIGHT be a strike someday if the drivers don't get more money and less hours (Forget the other excuses)
Apart from the ridiculous government statements and contradictions, why the HELL is everyone over there running around as if the end of the world is nigh?
