Cox Engine of The Month
I found the old Cox Bushmaster

I found the old Cox Bushmaster
While helping Dad fix the dryer the other day, I ran across a few of the toys from my long lost youth.
A couple of steam engines and the Cox plane that I'd been looking for. It's rougher than I'd hoped and the skis and rudder are missing, but the pontoons and wheels were still with it. The engine doesn't turn, but I do have spares. Not sure if I want to invest anything into it. The box is there, but it isn't in great shape.
I'll post pics when I can figure out how that works here. Help with that would be appreciated.
Cheers,
J~

Re: I found the old Cox Bushmaster
Thanks, G G. None of those options appear in my browser window.
One of the benefits of not using a Mac or Windows machine, I guess. I'll figure something out.
Cheers,
J~

Re: I found the old Cox Bushmaster
Thanks again, G G.
I'm using Linux as an OS with a Firefox browser on a laptop. Still
Perhaps I can send them to someone in a PM or email.
Cheers,
J~

Re: I found the old Cox Bushmaster
You're welcome. I'm using Linux Ubuntu Mate on my desktop and Linux Mint (fork of Ubuntu) on 2 laptops.Treefrog wrote:Thanks again, G G. I'm using Linux as an OS with a Firefox browser on a laptop. Still Perhaps I can send them to someone in a PM or email. Cheers, J~
These 2 distros have most everything configured, so using a combination of GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) for photo editing and Brave browser based on Google Chrome, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Chromium, a Google Chrome open source fork. All three allow me to insert photos using the CEF editing window.
However, I think I have found out a problem. The {Host an Image} icon button, 4th button to the left of {YouTube} just now gave me an error that never happened before:
(Translation: The page is not redirrecting adequately. An error occurred while connecting with servimg.com (the photo repository server). This problem at times can be caused by deactiving cookies or to refuse receiving cookies.)Linux Firefox in Spanish wrote:La página no está redirigiendo adecuadamente. I get the same result with my Android cellphone. No cookie problems, the image server is down.
