How do you edit a post now? Seems like there used to be an edit clicker in the post?
Can't find a way to edit now?

well there it is! some of my older posts do not have the edit button.
is it a time thing?

It's set to 30 days (the maximum allowed by the software, aside from off).

Which post(s) do you wish to edit?

I use the this image server on another forum that has none, unless you pay.
Used old posts with edit to upload photo, click the link and insert in other forum. This keep the post from getting bumped to the top.
The old posts I used no longer have edit. no biggie it used to be much longer like years.

I'd like so set it to 90 days, but 30 is the max. I know folks like to edit the For Sale/Wanted posts and 30 days is a bit soon. I'll have to suggest it to the developers.

You can act like you're posting a new post or thread, and upload pictures that way as well.

What I don't want is members going back and deleting the content of posts, rendering threads unintelligible with a bunch of holes.

Thanks, I just didn't want the photos to get bumped to latest topics. Most photo hosting sites are trash, yours is very nice.
I just realized an easer way.
Start New Topic
upload photo and get link
don't click send and topic goes away.

The thread linked below; I was able to edit several months ago. I wanted to update the first post.. to point out that many changes had been made to the design since 2013... The edit button was available then.. but I see that it's not there now.

You can also get the link by ”quoting” your post with the photo, do the copy-paste, then just not send your reply. There seems to be no discard button, but the back button of your browser does the same thing. This won’t bump the thread to the latest topics.

I have re-used the links from here on non-picture-friendly sites too Smile
