The reason I haven't been on as much...
This is my new Border Terrier puppy Charley. He was flown here from New York from a friend of my mothers. We picked him up from the cargo building at the airport yesterday. He is 12 weeks old and we really prefer to get puppies at 6 weeks old but the airline said they have to be at least 11-12 weeks old.

Re: The reason I haven't been on as much...
Y'know, I had my bird for 3 or 4 weeks before I named it Peeper because he/she goes in my shirt and peeps out.. I had my new Betta like 3 days before naming it Machine gun Because it tore some of the other fish up as it was a machine gun. LOL.... I find I let a pet show me its name rather than assigning 1 to it. You might try not naming it... It'll tell you its name in due time.

Congrats Jacob!
My male cat's name was Brodie,, because he would run down the hall kinda sideways, then flip a "brodie" at the end and come back down.
Brodie is a PNW redneck slang for a broad slide, and then you slide/turn the car or truck back the opposite direction and continue on.
He did it alot as a kitten,,so it stuck.

So far we have been calling him Charley. Just like my last dog Miles, he will likely be called several different names LOL.

The undisputed Queen of our home is "Meeghan" the calico cat who is lying on my computer desk as I type all snug in one of my old sweaters
Can one ever "own" at cat or do they "own" you?

Keith:
Jett would be more appropiate for a BLACK dog. Jett Black, get it?
Our "Meeghan" (calico cat) is named for Meeghan Black at KING-5 TV in Seattle.

When I was young we had a black labrador, and I'm afraid I can't possibly tell you what HIS name was (How times change!)
