The blue dot is that I know it is the .010 carb body.
The others have different color dots as well. (Green and Red)
You can take it off if you like?

Yes,
I am working on getting some .10 mufflers for them.
Those little buggers are harder to make parts for than the larger .049 parts.

Re: SOLd OUT Cox .010 Carburetors with wrench
I can see why you would like to gt an .010 muffler ---- to remove that piece of tin/aluminum.
I'm working on it and will let you know when they are up to my quality standards.
Thanks 1/2A Nut

Re: SOLd OUT Cox .010 Carburetors with wrench
How about sosam117, great job creating the air valves. I'm also planning to do something similar for my engines, a matter of personal challenge.
The air valves placed on the rotary valve of the crankshaft, for lower rpm, often require pressurization. Therefore I believe that the complete system will work very well with an exhaust chamber with a pressurization peak, plus the air valve placed on the rotary valve of the crankshaft.
What do you think?

Re: SOLd OUT Cox .010 Carburetors with wrench
Friend AndrĂ¡s, I congratulate you on your new acquisition...I'm glad that it works reliably.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you as a precautionary measure something that has happened to me with my model airplanes. Some time ago I put covers for acceleration controls, it turns out that over time, the post-combustion oil begins to get between the steel cable and the cover, making the movement very heavy, it even sticks due to the oil. From that experience, I no longer put a cover on the throttle control steel cable, I only send the steel cable only passing through the wood of the fuselage. This way I never had problems again.
I indicate in your photo with a yellow arrow.
Please take my indication as a suggestion.

Re: SOLd OUT Cox .010 Carburetors with wrench
Thank you Mauricio on your note about the pushrod sleeve. Yes, this may easily get the rod stuck in drying castor, so must be kept clean. I use the sleeve to strengthen the pushrod so that it will not bend and buckle when pushed by the servo which is in the middle of fuselage length i.e. the rod is rather long so buckles eaily.
