Looking for a metal backplate for extended tank
Looking for a metal backplate, no filler nipples, as this engine has an extended tank.
Thanks,
Bill
Thanks,

Yup. Buy plastic now, plug holes, run engine now.

Re: Looking for a metal backplate for extended tank
Thanks guys, appreciate the input. I realize i can get plastic, there's one on there now and it is warped and leaks like a sieve. I'd like to find a metal one...hopefully someone will have one lying around gathering dust :-)

Re: Looking for a metal backplate for extended tank
But don't feel the need to search for "only" 8cc Silver/Golden/Black Bee backs. You can pick up any one of the 5cc backplates and plug the fill/vent ports. If you score a double-nipple backplate, you can run a piece of fuel line between the two nipples. This effectively will seal them without making irreversible changes. Even toothpicks smeared in epoxy or JBWeld and stuffed in the holes will be only "barely permanent," but it will work long enough to continue enjoying the engine.
