i have bought a red tank from Bernie - but - here's my wonderment
do I leave the stock original on it
or do i start teaching myself anodizing and see if I can start turning my original tanks back to red?
or black
or silver
anyone here do a bunch of home anodizing?

One or two here have expressed experience in anodizing. Regarding what colors to use, that is a personal choice, depends on what your end goals are, original or custom.cstatman wrote:got a Texaco back to running.

When Bernie advertised, I bought one of his red tanks for a custom engine in the making.

Re: .049 Texaco back to life
thanks GG
I have a Bernie red tank. we are soo lucky to have Him keeping our hobby alive . And Matt from EX
I appreciate the search link, and will be going through those threads later this morning. I just figured, heck, anodizing, maybe I can figure it out, maybe its another way to waste time and money in my endless pursuit of going bankrupt and homeless due ONLY to cox model engines.
