Re: Happy Easter!
Hi All,
I wish everyone a Happy Easter.
Jesus,
Taught us all,
And is alive and well in all of us.
He died,
For all the beautiful of all of us...
To have faith,
In all of us,
This is why he likes everyone else...
Love,
Sending it is the point.
Love,
Dave

Re: Happy Easter!
Can I enter this in the next Cox Engine of the Month Contest? After all, it has an original chocolate cylinder and original chocolate crankcase, lubricating digestion with 10% Reeses and 10% synthetic Vinillin. Plus, most of it can be seen through the yellow cowling. And it is capable of running (or being eaten).

If you can shoot a video of it running, I'll accept it!

Re: Happy Easter!
Hi gg,
Cupcake Icing, is a great model airplane name... (I like flying off of snow/ice)
Easter is very special to me.
I find,
We can all agree to Have Faith.
Together.
And all of us agree that Cox .049s are not too loud...
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave

Re: Happy Easter!
All recent political implications of these names aside, Outerzone has an early 1970's rudder only 1/4-A biplane called Cupcake. It was powered by a Cox .010 TD, but would be a shoe-in for the similar power of a .020 Pee Wee.HalfaDave wrote:Cupcake Icing, is a great model airplane name... (I like flying off of snow/ice)
https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=13056 24in span Cupcake by Jay Richards (Bill Tomasco is an error, he did the production inked publisher's plan for MAN) from August 1969 Model Airplane News
On the C/L side there is an early speed plane that is half-A size called the Snowflake. In 1948 it used a Dooling .61 ignition engine, set a 148 MPH (243 khm) world record! But today, it would be fun to power it with a smaller Cox glow engine. (I'm not into speed, so won't venture into what engine to use today.)
https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=12806 22in span Snowflake by Bill Viets from April 1948 Air Trails
Both are the types of planes that some here would definitely enjoy creating and flying, well within the confines of Cox and other makes of half-A to A sized engines. By some adjustments with changes from rudder only, the Cupcake would make an excellent 2 channel rudder and elevator or aileron and elevator plane. Or, fly it rudder only as originally intended.
Yes, I agree.HalfaDave wrote:Easter is very special to me. I find, We can all agree to Have Faith. Together. And all of us agree that Cox .049s are not too loud...
This past week ended up being very busy for me, our local Ministerial Alliance used our Corps worship center for a multicongregational Good Friday worship service, with 7 pastors speaking. I operated the projection slides. Also had our Easter service Sunday, where I prepared the slides and operated the projector, and the music as church musician. Plus assisted with preparing the facilities for these services during the week prior to meetings.

¡Feliz Pascua, los miembros de Foro de Motor Cox!
Hapy Easter, Cox Engine Forum members!
Espero que el conejo de Pascua tes dio buenos regalos en tus buzones.
I hope the Easter bunny gave you good gifts in your mailboxes.
Romanos 8:38-39 (RV 1909)
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 (KJV)

Re: Happy Easter!
Hi All,
Happy Easter everyone, my Easter Sunday was awesome.
After a noon very nice Family get together, the cloudy skies parted and sunbeams appeared. The breeze calmed.
I charged the elec. 24in span Buzzard Bombshell to go to the local park.
~4PM 10C next to no wind, I launched.
I had a glorious 25mins of watching the Easter yellow transparent covering going in and out of sunbeams.
It was amazing.
I am not shy at saying Easter is a part of my Faith.
But this flight, was like, "WOW" !
Hope you are all Well too...
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave
