In 3 to 4 years when we will run out and need to manufacture them, expect a $39.95 retail price, if not higher.

But then your tee dees should be out, right?
Re: Large quantities of oddball original Cox items on auction starting at 98 cents
We are targetting year end 2012 for a Tee Dee .049 but do expect a $60 to $70 price tag. The crankcases, cylinders and pistons will be a killer, price-wise. Manufacturing in small runs of 1,000 is quite cost-prohibitive.
Re: Large quantities of oddball original Cox items on auction starting at 98 cents
Seems fair if they are comparable to the original ones for power.Cox International wrote:We are targetting year end 2012 for a Tee Dee .049 but do expect a $60 to $70 price tag. A while back I was thinking of converting a reedie to front rotary
Maybe an SS .049 crankcase and Killer crank drilled out and then the case tapped for maybe a tee dee .020 venturi
Worth a try but time and skill are problems for me.
Re: Large quantities of oddball original Cox items on auction starting at 98 cents
I wouldn't mind some red PT-19 spinners, but I don't need 100
Re: Large quantities of oddball original Cox items on auction starting at 98 cents
Are the FlyBoy spinners the same as the black 049 spinners?
Re: Large quantities of oddball original Cox items on auction starting at 98 cents
I want some of each but not all of each LOL
Speaking of orders, Bernie can you add some XenaLube to my order and shoot me a paypal?

You could cal it -Nitrostein-
I thought about that too. If I were going to give it a try, I'd
considder using a car case and crank. The car crank has a
little more meat to deal with when it comes to drilling it out.
Plenty robust too.

No, those are really small spinners and I have not the foggiest idea on how to mount them. They were for the electrifly models, such as "Flyboy".

The carb body aside, our plans are to make them indistinguishable from the OEM product; in looks as well as performance. One of the "improvements" will be the use of an aluminium carb body as opposed to the Delrin one.
We will also have an RC version using OEM Cox carburetor assemblies.

Will you manufacture every single part?
