And I am impressed with all the folks here who have similar life experiences to me
I am Army brat with 22 years active duty enlisted time during post Viet Nam
I work for the Army as a DoD civilian and will retire soon for that
Some day would like to meet many of you in my travels

Nice story man but I recommend it gets moved to the introduction section as that is designed for things like this.

So what did you conclude from reading "every post on the forum"?
"Curious minds want to know."

Actually Dave, I first "concluded" that I like the site and that you, I, and a few others in here have very similar life experiances and travels
There are a few posts where it is obvious the poster has no clue
BUt suprisingly quite a few that I learned a great deal from
So far I did not see any flame wars
And I am trying desperatly to keep my mouth shut on a few things because I know it will start a flame war
Such as why acetone can be a very good fuel additive ... and I could also take the position about why it is dumb as can be to ever consider adding acetone to glow fuel
