Looks like a place where models go that have been well cared for my friend…Plus we all get to see and learn a little something on your rehabs…. Enjoy them!!!
I’ve purposely tried to keep my parts count low…. I get my thrills from building and tinkering…. And some flying…But I tend to strain at a gnat which can get things bogged down sometimes…Keep going compadre

Hi Bob,
Great find, very nice early example of the pt-19, congrats!

Thanks Robert, My joy is reclaiming them from the junk pile. After that I'm looking forward to the next one.
Parts - I do my best to keep Bernie and Matt in business.
And Mark, I have three. Real collectors have a dozen or more with all the variations. Seems with the smaller box Cox went into full tilt production on the model.

I know I must have a fourth, but I can't find it. It may be the one I sent to Ron a couple of years ago. Pretty well broken and repaired with plastic butter container tops. Colorful though.
It's the Cox PT-20 Ryan that I lust after. But I can't justify paying the going price. Plus they are usually in excellent condition.
I missed out on this one recently. Just my liking. BIN $199.00 and someone made an offer.
Some of these are priced crazy, $1000 + for NIB. Mark paid flea Mkt $125 for mine.

This one was a little crazy. String/yarn? was wrapped around the handle and Dacron (second picture above) around the tail. Both had adjustable engine pitch, but did it differently. It came with the washer, but I don't think it was a part of the original box. I bought the other boxed PT-19 at the same flea market earlier for $40. It's also new.

Wall of shame, where models go to die. I told my daughter-in-law that when I kick she and Mark will have fun turning all this stuff back into cash. I have saved most of the shipping boxes. In reality, we "own" nothing. We just rent it for a while

No way
All the 70+ engines I have will join me 6 feet under in a dedicated box...what else would you expect from a COX fanatic?
