Thank you for all your votes. The TeeDee pictured there definitely deserves the win...since it was put in service several years ago, it has well passed 250 or so hours of runtime still with all stock, original components ...

Thanks a lot! I really adore the 049-051 size COX Tee Dee workhorses, they easily carry even a small camera on board, enabling flight videos and feature shots like my candidate photo..

Thank you George, for me COX engines represent dependable performance from a high quality product- made in competitive mass production, kinda paradox nowadays but a standard during the COX heydays when this engine was born.

Andras, I don't have the Tee Dee except for .020, but have a .09 Medallion R/C and conversion kit to make my Medallion .049 to R/C. I plan to put these to use. The Medallion .09 R/C is for my 1959 46" Berkeley Impulse single channel pylon racer. You are right, Cox made fine, reliable engines, never had a problem with them. They were always consistent good runners.

My Cox .09 Medallion R/C on the nose of the Berkeley's fuselage. BTW, doesn't this photo make a nice next engine-of-the-month contest candidate?

I started this build in 2014, photo below is from 2018. It is all framed up, just need to join the wings for dihedral, mount radio gear, cover, finish. When I am in a better position, will complete it.
