Wow. Looks like you got a very good deal on yours. Sorry, I cannot help with the windshield. On another note, that sure is a different looking model, and well, I cannot wait to see it after it goes through the clean-up process I am thinking it will be getting.......

Re: Wen Mac P-26 Peashooter
Thanks Eric, sounds like my Dad's old model A Ford on a bad day.
I have been attracted to these ever since I first saw one. Featured in several early movies. I think "Test Pilot" may have been one. Test pilot suffers anoxia crashes on a beach, commanding officer lands stuffs him in the cargo hold and takes off. 1930's.
Colorful paint schemes.
This one is missing the cowling. Found parts on the net that includes one, seller wants twice as much as I paid for a nearly complete model.

Re: Wen Mac P-26 Peashooter
Good one TL!!
I kept thinking - Don't step on that little airplane.
The man from U.N.C.L.E. a favorite of mine right up there with "The Prisoner."
Lot's going on with the P-26. Got together with the seller of the two parts airplanes and worked a deal.
Two separate auctions, same seller. He combined both for a fraction of his original asking BIN price.
Then, I revisited this:
Seller had it at $129 BIN, agreed to $75. The parts (cowls) will complete both airplanes. One to restore, one to fly and I will wind up with two extra engines.
This one NIB on ebay currently at $262.72 with four hours to go. Very nice, but not my style. I buy it, it sits there. Does nothing for me.
