This pic was taken on Christmas day 1964 or maybe 63. That's me with my new Cox Spitfire. In the background is a G.I. Joe F9F Panther. Also visible is the back end of a G.I. Joe Armored car, and a Johnny Eagle M14 rifle. I think the bridge toy was spring loaded or something so that it would appear to blow up when the truck went over it. Don't really remember, that was a long time ago. I was a happy kid that day. Very Happy

I remember spindly little trees like that decorated with those same “ icicles “…. And how much mom made sure we had a nice Christmas morning…. Sweet memories….,

My GI Joe’s did not fare too well…Most perished in battle…. Bottle rockets, Roman Candles, Smoke Bombs etc… Shocked

see a Johnny Eagle Lieutenants M-14 rifle with the suppressor in the foreground. shot caps and spring loaded two piece bullets. good Christmas.

this was close to the Best Christmas i ever had as a child  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy A good Christmas for me Lionel10  Second was MY Mini Bike !! i was independent then LOL
